Our kiln is made of fire brick, mortar, castable, and fire clay. But it's also made with a lot of time and hard work, stress and excitement, tears and laughter. It's made with a blind hope for the future and for the potential it can hold in its chambers, supported with a strong determination and ever so sound buttresses.
October 27, 2017. Kiln ground breaking
We had many family and friends help us with the building! From framing the kiln shed to laying each brick, we are thankful for the support we had.
We finished our Anagama kiln in July 2018. It's 23' long and 7' at its tallest point.
